Sarah Mullens

Sarah Mullens is a creative nonfiction writer who grew up between West Virginia and Texas. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Oxford AmericanPloughsharesThe Missouri ReviewCondé Nast Traveler, and elsewhere, and has received support from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference and Virginia Center for Creative Arts. She received her MFA from Colorado State University, where she was a Hammond-Schwartz Fellow, Leslee Beeker Memorial Fellow, and Associate Editor of Colorado Review. She’s currently a Hughes Fellow and Visiting Writer in Residence at Southern Methodist University.
